My Name is Bernhard Lill and I’m a journalist and trainer. Since 2009, I’ve been focussing on online journalism and on how to tell stories for websites, mobile devices and social media. My clients include RTL interactive, Sky, Robert Bosch Stiftung and Deutsche Welle (DW).
From 1995 to 2009, I worked as an editor, a freelance reporter and producer for major broadcasting companies (BBC World Service, Radio Bremen and NDR) and also wrote for well known German print publications like Stern, Max, Zeit, Brigitte. I filed my stories from 16 countries on four continents and wrote a book on India.
While I was editing a German online magazine, I fell in love with the three big "S": Smartphones, Social Media and SEO.
I hold a teacher’s degree and completed my journalistic training at the Hamburg School of Journalism, one of Germany’s most prestigious journalism schools.
